About Us

CFO Inbox Services Inc. (CBOX) is the result of our founder’s desire to help small businesses prosper. Dorothy owned a small business early in her working life, and after progressing through several positions in mid-tier and large corporations, she landed on finance, accounting, and tax as her passion. Initially, as an independent contractor, Dorothy was helping a few small businesses, family and friends who were Incorporated Consultants.  

As the Canadian workforce was shifting from large corporations with a dedicated employee base, to a mobile, remote, gig economy, contracted services model, Dorothy began searching for a better way to manage the financial side of single person corporations. 

Dorothy realized that many of repetitive processes could be automated, and with the help of her first clients, who are IT Wizards, built a phone app and software stack to make the business flow manageable, repeatable, and reliable.  

That’s how CBOX was born!

Dorothy now leads a team who focus on the financial and compliance needs of CBOX clients, and relies on the IT Wizards to automate, simplify, and reduce the workload.

Each business is new and sometimes terrifying territory for CBOX clients. We provide the expert guidance, process, and mentorship to help you succeed.

CBOX clients are consultants in project management, information technology, graphic design, marketing, medical, sales and many other fields, and have one thing in common. They want someone to take care of the financial side while they do what they do best!

CFO Inbox Services Inc. is NOT a CPA firm charging high prices for small businesses. We have a single monthly fee which includes everything needed to give you peace of mind. We are responsive, reliable, and extremely easy to work with.

We provide our services online and remotely. Our team and our clients are geographically dispersed. However, our roots are in Canada, and we know the Canadian way!
